Electric Youth Crew

by Combat Wounded Veteran

1.
I drive a nuclear hearse through a city that runs on on a thick oil squeezed from the skulls of paranoid sponges! And automotons are fucking anything they can plug polymer into, while you're still trying to catch flies with smell of static electric shit! Crypt? No!!!
2.
Whose wayward glances could be misconstrued as the embarrassing transference of a child still learning patterns & realties of their own? A liability to manners & a formality of growth stirs disgust in quarantined avenues of emotional association. It seems like less a question & far from shameful, if taken in the context of reality as a whole. That which first nurtures & bestows acceptance unconditionally becomes the role model and demands a return to the earliest feelings of protection.
3.
Someone is dead and fools bleed into a spread as blood inks itself into water. Conversations swirling the feeble phrasings of minds drunk dull - outpouring creations drawn of self-indulgent passions & the vacuous reality of the satisfied. The satisfaction of the murdered mind stricken by absent shifts & inclines dovetailing into the minus theory & mirroring of the unimpressive imaginings of the repetition-minded. Blanketed in the comfort of well-worm practices & structured regiments to train the cycling of ideas. Minds binded (sic) by opposite end extremes w/ the bitter slumming somewhere in between appropriating themselves into the minus theory. No lessons learned in this place peopled w/ pretense. A cornered market of embarrassing ideas. Someone is dead & their plots atrophied.

about

"This is what I've been waiting on? Place the blame on the Amputees."

"Electric Youth Crew" originally released at some point in 2002 as a split CD and LP with Reversal of Man on Schematics, Steve Heritage's old label. Heritage had recorded both bands two years prior in February of 2000 (Combat Wounded Veteran) and March of 2000 (Reversal of Man) at Atomic Audio. The CD and LP saw a one-time pressing and the release fell out of print over the years since.

April 7, 2023 marks the first time that these CWV songs are being made available for streaming and download platforms officially. This digital release is part of a larger project, wherein Dark Operative will now be administering the band's entire discography in the digital realm and reissuing all of the material in a series of vinyl releases in the months to come.

Additionally, the band will be launching an official merchandise store in collaboration with Midnight Screening.

Finally, the band will be donating their proceeds on all releases and merchandise to various charities on local levels around the planet.

Please stay tuned for more information.
